Who We Are - Our History
Founded in January 2021, Tennessee Neighbors for Liberty is a grassroots Patriot group which exists for the purpose of helping to restore the Republic that was intended by our founding fathers in the original Constitution for the United States of America. We maintain that our rights are derived not from man-made institutions, but rather from our Creator God whose image we bare and before whom we shall all stand and give an account. Therefore, our goals and actions are grounded in the sacred scriptures of the Bible.
Tennessee Neighbors for Liberty (TNL) is organized internally into small mutual assistance groups which are determined by geographical location to ensure that our members maintain communication and have access to one another in the event of a crisis such as a grid down situation, natural disaster or declared pandemic. Any disaster requires the certainty of shared information within a community as well as notifications across surrounding counties and states as events unfold and TNL is organized to insure both.
Legally, TNL is structured as a PMA, a Private Ministerial Association, with a Board of Trustees which grants us the authority to conduct business lawfully not only among our members but also with outside entities free of government intrusion.
Locally, we are engaged in supporting businesses and elected officials who share our conservative values, and we actively seek to support like-minded candidates for public office by assisting with their campaigns. We are actively involved in addressing the local city council, county commission and school board regarding issues such as mandates, the Climate Action Plan, pornography in the classroom and other issues that threaten the wellbeing of every man, woman and child in Tennessee. Additionally, we periodically hold town hall meetings to offer the public a platform from which to acquire information and to voice the concerns of “We the People” regarding the wellbeing of our city, county and state.
TNL is also committed to frequent in-person meetings with representatives and senators in our state capitol as needed to communicate the will of the people they were elected to represent concerning their votes on various bills that arise.
Since TNL’s founding, our local group has expanded by over twenty-two thousand percent (22,000%) and our Facebook page reaches people all across the country. Over the past three years, we have connected patriots and patriot groups in Tennessee and surrounding states through small groups and statewide gatherings to partner together in the process of educating and engaging concerned citizens in the work of reclaiming our roots and restoring our Republic. Tennessee Neighbors for Liberty is proud to carry the torch for constitutional values in the Volunteer State.
