At  Tennessee Neighbors we believe God’s people should be prepared to  preserve their homes and families, as a matter of good stewardship. We  also believe in community and helping each other. We are focused on  training. One of those areas is Communications, and we are offering HAM  radio classes to teach you how to communicate should the need arise.  Recent disasters have shown that those with Ham radios were much more  equipped to deal with what came their way. 

Our process is :

1. Order a Baufeng UV-5R 8 Watt Radio (https://a.co/d/1unRm4f) be sure to only get this radio.
2. Register for a class
3. Bring your radio to the class and we will program it so it is useful locally
4. Study for a FCC test ( it is easy and we will help you)
5. Register for your Test and take the Test.
6. Continue training at your TNL small group exercises and on our local Nets.

When  you are plugged in to a small group and are radio trained,  you will be  checked on during disaster events to be sure you are OK!
